Equine Initiative
Event focus: Participants will learn about equine research being conducted at UK and the practical applications of this research for horse owners, farm owners, farm managers and veterinarians
Event location: UK's Maine Chance Equine Campus, Newtown Pike just north of I-75, Lexington
Event highlights: Booths showcasing event partners and UK Equine, Initiative working groups
Anticipated attendance: Approximately 500 horse owners, farm owners, farm managers and veterinarians
From I-75 (North of Lexington):
Take the Kentucky Horse Park exit (I-75 Exit 120), travel east on Iron Works Pike, turn right on Newtown Pike at four-way stop and watch for first UK farm entrance on your right. Will be well marked.
From I-64, I-75, or New Circle Road:
Take the Newtown Pike exit (I-64/I-75 Exit 115), travel north to the second UK farm entrance on your left. Will be well marked.
